Happy Mother's Day, Curvee Sisters! This mother's day for the first time in all of my years, I won't be with my mom. She and I both will be on vacation...yay for vacation, nay for us being apart. So instead of our traditional Mother - Daughter Mother's Day brunch, we decided to create new traditions by having a photo shoot and writing Dear Mama/Dear Daughter open letters to one another. 
This photo shoot felt like my childhood dreams manifesting into my adult reality. I remember going shopping at Avenue stores with my mother, she'd be meticulously sorting through the racks and I'd be hiding inside of them. I never would've imaged years later, I'd be partnering with Avenue to dress my mom for our first ever Mother -  Daughter photo shoot.

 Dear Pretty Lady,
Thanks for being my backbone, my secret holder, my journal, my biggest supporter, and my 1st best friend. I've never met another human being with a heart so full of kindness and love. It's as if you've never met a stranger, everyone loves you instantly! Seriously, it's been 27 years...what's your secret? Our lives have transitioned a lot over last few years but you've maneuvered through it all with class, grace, and love. You've been molding me to be strong, fearless, loving, respected, and DRAMATIC (lol jk). Every day feels like a lesson in womanhood and even when you can't see I'm learning, observing, and applying. I aspire to live life as fully and intentionally as you have all these years. I love you to the moon and beyond Mommy Lady. I promise that I'll give you your flowers on this Mother's Day and every day after.

Since the day you were born, you brought so much joy into my life. From the moment I laid my eyes on you and held you in my arms, I knew you were destined to be a very special young lady. Every day, you prove me right! You have more accomplishments and achievements than I can name. I want you to know that you have made me proud in all ways. I'm proud of the woman you've become. I proud the woman you're growing to be. I want you to know from the bottom of my heart, I love you and there's nothing in the world I wouldn't do for you. Like I always tell you, you may not mean much to the world...but YOU MEAN THE WORLD TO ME! Thanks for the best mother's day gift ever, your unconditional love.
