Raise your hand if you love to vacation! There's nothing better than a quick getaway to refresh, destress, and catch up with your girls! Chardline and I traveled to Dallas, Texas to kickstart our summer travels and destress from our busy lives.

Our hotel, the Cambria Dallas is located right in the heart of Downtown Dallas. The Cambria offers the perfect balance between modern art deco style and genuine Texas hospitality. We stayed on the 22nd floor in the Majestic Suite which offered a beautiful view of Dallas' art district. The suite was equipped with luxury amenities including a kitchenette, living room, executive table, and large windows that lit the suite with lots natural light. The hotel's staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable. Every night, Adrian was there to greet us with a huge smile, snacks, and recommendations of things to do in Dallas.
Dallas is home to over 12,000 restaurants and one of its top-rated eateries is located right inside of the Cambria hotel. Whether you're in the mood for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or a cocktail Petro Bar & Bistro is a one-stop shop. If you're lucky, you may be entertained by local musicians while you dine. The food is delicious and the decor is Instagram worthy!
There are a lot of things to do and see in Dallas. With the help of the Dallas Tourism Board's website, you can curate the perfect trip for you and your girlfriends. I'd recommend purchasing a Dallas CityPass, so you can see all of Dallas' must-see attractions at a discounted rate. The pass even includes admission into The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza and the Dallas Zoo!
Chardline and I quickly created a weekend itinerary that included a Caribbean day party/brunch, shopping at NorthPark Center (of course the bloggers had to visit the mall), singing our hearts out at karaoke, and visiting Reunion Tower GeO-Deck and Perot Museum of Nature & Science. My inner child was awakened at the museum as soon as we stepped off of the escalator to a huge fossil of a t-rex dinosaur. Perot Museum of Nature & Science is perfect for families, singles, or girlfriends looking to have some fun while in Dallas!
Dallas fun fact: The first frozen margarita machine was invented in Dallas!
If you've ever spent a night out with me, you tequila and margaritas are my jam! If you're a tequila lover like me, you have to expierence Dallas' Margarita Mile. The Margarita Mile is a self-guided tour through various Dallas' areas to try some of the cities best margaritas. My favorite was the Wild-Rita at Wild Salsa in Downtown Dallas, it has roasted pineapple, jalapeño-infused tequila, hand-pressed lime juice, agave nectar, garnished with a slice of jalapeño and perfected chili lime rim. Once you download the free Margarita Mile app, you simply check-in to the participating resturants and start earning status on the mile. Can you believe I'm still a Rookie? There are over 15 restaurants for you to check in at on the mile! Each has a speciality margarita including a frozen margarita made with liquid nitrogen. Unlike your typical bar crawl, the Margarita Mile rewards you with free swag for every level you achieve in the interactive experience.
I'm so glad I was able to visit Dallas with Chardline. If you're looking for a fast growing city with southern charm you should make you way to Dallas right now! P.s Dallas is Fat Girls Travel, Too! approved!
